What FFmpeg.Run does

FFmpeg.Run generates FFmpeg commands in your browser. You do not need to upload media files, and the site does not send your local file names, media files, or generated commands to our server for processing.

Analytics and information collected

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve our tools and articles. Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, referring pages, browser and device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, cookies or similar online identifiers, and interaction events such as selecting an option, opening a related tool, or copying a command.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, local file names, generated commands, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics through our analytics events.

Advertising and third-party cookies

FFmpeg.Run may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, personalize, and report on ads shown on this site.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to FFmpeg.Run or other websites. If additional third-party advertising vendors or ad networks are enabled, they may also place or read cookies and use similar technologies when serving ads.

Your privacy choices

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn about opt-out choices offered by participating third-party vendors at AboutAds. Browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies, although doing so can affect some site features.

Before serving personalized ads where consent is required, including to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform to request and manage consent. When a consent message is shown, you can use its controls to accept, reject, or manage available choices.

Third-party services and data sharing

Information collected through Google Analytics and Google AdSense is processed by Google under its own terms and privacy practices. Review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We may also use information you voluntarily provide to respond to support, correction, or partnership requests.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current revision date appears at the top of this page.
